memories
It was a night of rememberance. It was a time when everyone feels proud to be part of it. The staff did a really great job in creating the atmosphere for our graduation ceremony, even the fathers cried when they read the letters written to them by their sons. Being one of the leaders who were suppose to lead the secondary fours in singing, I can clearly see the facial expressions of my fellow josephians. I felt a sense of pride rushing over me knowing that they have shared this four years with me. Four years that made us who we are today, man of faith and service.
If it wasn't for SJI, I do not know what would become of me today. It was the patience and tolerance of the teachers that calm the beast within me. I was really bad tempered during my first two years in SJI, the slightest thing would just piss me off. It was just a matter of time before I get kicked out of school, but the teachers were patient with me. I was touched by their actions. "Don't let your anger control you.." that's what Mr Gregory said to me, "that is the only thing that separates us from animals." No matter how many of you think that he is a bastard, but to me he is a great teacher.
This four years had been wonderful. But this past year was the best. Getting to know jared, weijie, jon, pik, xiao an and the rest and all, the shits we did together. The only thing I regret is not being able to get to know them earlier, by the time we got to know each other we have to start chiong-ing for prelims and could not have much fun. But STILL it was great knowing you guys.
